Designed by Naoto Fukasawa, the LAMY noto brings together a softly triangular body and a clip integrated into the housing contour. The Blue-Silver version pairs a matt blue plastic body with silver-coloured fittings, creating a crisp structural contrast within its quiet, reduced form.

Returning to the essence of writing through “Without Thought”

Naoto Fukasawa’s “Without Thought” approach begins with the natural, intuitive ways people use everyday objects, translating unconscious gestures into quiet and precise design. The LAMY noto answers the hand with its unified triangular body, while the clip appears to grow directly from the housing contour. Its reduced form retains clear function and identity, allowing the pen to be understood and used naturally without unnecessary explanation.
